Is this you?

  • You need to know where someone is going, their plans and when they’ll be back for the sake of safety and because you care.
  • You feel uneasy letting someone else do for themselves what you’re used to doing for them.
  • You automatically assume that when someone asks a question or is stuck on something, they want or need some kind of instruction, guidance or advice from you.

First of all permit me to acknowledge you for the caring, sharing and giving that you provide for those around you. We dare not think of what humanity would be like, without people like you.
Sadly those who provide nurturing and care for others often times forget to do the same for themselves. With that said -

How would you describe how you feel most days?
What is your body saying to you?
Has the warm feeling one gets from ‘giving to others’ dropped a few degrees?
How much satisfaction and fulfillment are you getting from your relationships?
What kind of feedback do you get from those around you?
When was the last time you spent a significant amount of quality time, doing what you love or with people you have fun with.

On a scale of 1-10, how do your answers make you feel at this moment? 10=great.

If your response is considerably less than 10, what do you want to start doing right now that is different from what you’ve been doing until now?

What do you feel needs to change a little or a lot?
How can you make that change happen?
What do you need in order to feel that warmth in ‘giving’ again?
